The Holistic Way Of Life

Updated: 4 days ago

Welcome to Triple Leaf Holistics...

Old is gold, longevity is the crown of Life with a distinction of honour, experience, knowledge and wisdom.

Living a holistic lifestyle is a lot healthier than most styles of living, and its the ancient way of living traced back from time immemorial. It basically means you're choosing to live your life completely positive and heal your body through natural remedies, a plant based diet, and connection with nature. What's unique about this way of living is you observe everything as a whole.

The concept of holistic lifestyle originated from the healing practices of Ancient African people ages ago . They lived a holistic healthy way of life as well as natural treatment

practices ( 100% plant based herbs and diet) that seek to mend and connect the mind, body, and spirit in a mystical way beyond scientific knowledge. They feed and rely on plant based food not robbed of their life giving properties.

They strongly live in conscious harmony with nature and their environment, in a unique way that they communicated with nature through the forgotten silent language of the universe that connects to the soul of the universe and binds everything together (water, fire, wind, earth and the galaxies). Through holistic living they developed mystical natural powers to the extend that they commanded or rather communicated with nature to perform overwhelming mysteries and happenings beyond scientific knowledge and research.

Triple Leaf Holistics, is a positive movement on the quest of restoring the ancient African holistic way of Life so we can empower our Continent, Nation, Community, Society and Family for True Knowledge and Wisdom of Life, Health and Harmony the Natural Way as it was in the beginning so shall it be all times, reclaiming back our lost Heritage and the Life we were meant to live.. Our Passion is creating a holistic supportive community that facilitates us and our children feeling empowered to learn about the plants that grow around us, the true knowledge of our-story, wisdom, values and mystics . And, that one day the healing qualities of herbs, plants and natural way will once again be common knowledge for us all. The aim of Triple Leaf Holistics is to bring this truth back to life by stepping into consciousness.

A holistic approach is vital, because everything in the universe is energy, and everything is connected to the soul of the universe. Holistic healing touches every level of our being - the body, emotions, mind, and spirit. Approaching healing spiritually is overwhelmingly essential because the deepest, highest, most profound, and most lasting levels of healing is spiritual healing. Holistic Way is a cosmic truth which tells us that our body, mind, soul and spirit are interconnected as also that we are one with Mother Nature, where we came from and where we are going. This deep knowledge and truth lives within us. It is one with us. Unfortunately, nowadays we have walked away from this truth and our mother who give us birth that’s why humanity and nature is on the verge of collapse.

Holistic health is a state of balance, not simply an absence of illness. A holistic practice  teaches about the interconnection of mind, body, spirit and the environment—just as it was since time immemorial. Holistic living can be a healthy and sustainable way of living a balanced life. It involves making intentional choices to care for ourselves mind, body, and soul. By firmly taking ownership of our own life and the gift of free will that we humans experience as also by learning how to love and steward the process of creation vibrant and positive results will surely effect.

As the term implies, holistic living concerns your whole person. It’s about the relationship between your mind, body and spirit, and how those three interact with your environment. More importantly, it’s about making the choice to attain maximum well being, every single time.

A holistic approach is all- encompassing. Holistic healthy focuses on the person as a whole, the environment that surrounds them and how they react to each other.

A holistic approach means taking care of something totally in all aspects. Holistic living means a complete and vast understanding of all the aspect of our life and positive way of living, it covers everything that enable us to live healthy and happy. The focus of a holistic approach to health is on improving both mental and physical aspects without neglecting either. Physical exercise can improve our mental health in numerous ways, and improving mental health can allow us to do more exercise.

Holistic has many definitions, some call it the way of life, others spiritual, others educated. I like to think of a holistic life as a positive wise, loving life. Few people know the true meaning and all the elements that make up love. You live a life that you know will be better by looking at the ‘big-picture’, living life as whole, living in a world full of disappointments and pain without being affected inside. Be prepared for anything. Life sometimes can be ugly and if you aren't ready for it, it won't go well. Be aware of your surroundings and try to make the best of a bad situation. Look at things objectively and be flexible to learn.

Do not waste energy on things you cannot change, rather utilise it on things you can change! Observe, Learn, Grow and Love .... “We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love… and then we return home.” -Australian Aboriginal Proverb.

Treat Problems at Their Source.

Holistic medicine treats the cause, rather than just the symptoms, of a disease. For example, traditional doctors treat headaches with aspirin, while holistic health practitioners also consider other factors like whether the patient is under a lot of stress. Once the cause is determined, the patient is treated accordingly.

Herbal medicine emphasises holistic balance and is the oldest form of health care known to mankind. Indigenous people all over the world and throughout history have drawn on the medicinal properties of plants.

What you think, do, say, eat, practice, believe in and your impact on others and the planet you live in are all reflections of how you choose to live your life.  The society, church, school and our parents teach us the basics of right and wrong, good and bad and ethically how to behave in the world. However few of us are taught how to  live a fulfilling, nourishing life outside of making money and just ‘getting by, the true teachings and practice of life, why we are here in this planet, our purpose and how we are

supposed to live and steward our planet we call home.

Life is made up of many different layers of existence... Spirituality is observing your own existence. Have you experienced your own body? Experiencing the various levels of existence - your own body, your breath, your mind, your emotion, and the source of your life -. meditation is the answer. Meditation is experiencing the life force and being conscious of it and this is done effortlessly...

Have you noticed - that the mind and body function on completely opposite laws? In the realm of mind, effortlessness is the key. You cannot remember something by putting effort. The moment you relax the memory comes back. Creativity, intelligence, and memory — all these faculties within us happen effortlessly. But you can build muscles only when you put effort. The practice of Holistic Way is based on living and approaching life as a whole, understanding nature, the arts and of course their miraculous connection. Holistic Way is a medium to share Knowledge, Wisdom, Inspiration on Holistic Psychology, Well-being,Consciousness, Sustainable living, Creativity and Art.

Holistic psychology views the mind-body-spirit connection as integral part for understanding who we are and seeing the person as a whole, acknowledges the self-healing ability of a person and aims to turn it on or boost it, views mental illness as a symptom of imbalance, not a disease-( WHO), perceives and uses the body as a self-healing tool, utilises lifestyle changes (nutrition, movement, meditation) for self-healing, focuses on connecting with nature and its healing power, explores the spiritual dimension of a person. Holistic well-being means choosing a way of life that brings harmony and balance between the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual dimension of ourselves.

I believe that there are seven planes or layers of existence, the same way as the foundations of the chakras. They are the seen and unseen forces of the cosmos that define the different dimensions of this universe and those beyond it. They are so vast that the human mind must be in an abstract state to comprehend them. There are 5 brain waves or electric pattern each person has. namely, the Gamma, Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta Waves arranged from fastest to slowest. Flow state occur in the Alpha-Theta border where you are in the middle of your conscious and subconscious mind. These brain waves are in constant motion, the brain produces consistent waves at all frequencies.

BETA

Everything you do or say is regulated by the frequency of brain waves. When we talk to others, for example, our mind is in Beta. The Beta wave has a frequency of 14-28 cycles per second. Beta is the state in which you are active and alert. The brain wave range is the state in which we find ourselves when we learn and we process information. The wave range stimulates the release of Beta Endorphins.

ALPHA

In a Alpha state, your brain waves move at a frequency between 7-14 cycles per second. The frequency of Alpha is a mental state of deep relaxation and meditation. Alpha is the bridge between Beta and Theta. Wave Alpha governs daydreams, fantasy, and denotes a state of consciousness detached and relaxed. People who have problems with this frequency will have difficulty in remembering. For example, are you aware of a particular dream or meditation that was very deep, but do not come to mind the details, it means you have not generated sufficient frequency in Alpha. You had no bridge between the subconscious and the conscious mind.

THETA

The Theta state of mind enables us to perceive these inexplicable forces in all their majesty through the Creator of All That Is. (Theta brain waves, measured at 4-7 Hz, are the brain frequencies of the barely conscious states just before sleeping and just after awakening.Theta is the intriguing border between the conscious and the subconscious worlds. ... While in a theta state, the mind is capable of deep and profound learning, healing and growth )

Theta State is a state of very deep relaxation; it is used in hypnosis and during REM Sleep. The brain waves are slowed down at a frequency of 4-7 cycles per second.

For this reason, the People meditate consecutively for hours, in order to achieve this state, in order to have access to the absolute perfect calm.

Theta brain waves can be considered the subconscious; they govern the part of our mind that lies between the conscious and the unconscious and retain memories and feelings. Also direct your beliefs and your behavior.

Theta waves are always creative, characterized by feelings of inspiration and very spiritual.

It is believed that this mental state allows you to act below the level of the conscious mind.

Theta is the first stage of the phase when we dream. To understand this frequency in a simple and comprehensive enough to think about how it feels and what it's like being on top of a mountain totally absorbed by what's around you and know that you "know" that God is real, just know that God "is . " At that moment you are in Theta.

Theta State is a very powerful state. It can be compared to that kind of trance where you can find children when they are playing with video games.

Another example of the Theta state is that of those who walk on hot coals without getting burned.

DELTA

Delta is the state of mind when you're in a deep sleep. In Delta brain waves are slowed down to a frequency that varies between 0-4 cycles per second. It is the wave that you use when the phone rings and you already know who's calling. Delta is the realm of your unconscious mind. It is the gateway to the Universal mind and the collective unconscious whereby information received is otherwise unavailable at the conscious level. Delta is associated with deep healing and regeneration, underlining the importance of deep sleep to the healing process.

GAMMA

Gamma waves appear to be involved in higher brain activity, in which are included the perception and consciousness. While you're in range, your brainwaves range from 40 to 5000 cycles per second. Gamma forms new brain cells in the frontal cortex, thus increasing our capacity for intelligence. It also forms new brain cells in the hippocampus, thus increasing our capacity for memory storage and retrieval—and for learning. It’s quite literally a powering-up of the brain. Gamma is a natural wave that we all have access to, either through deep meditation or through resonance with your brainwave entrainment tracks.

Our Connection to the energy of existence

We are a microcosm of the planes of existence. The human body is made up of five different compounds: lipids, carbohydrates, proteins, nucleic acid (DNA), and ATP (energy). Each of these is linked to a particular plane. Together, these five components make up who we are. They are the staff of life that connects us with the other planes.

This can be seen in the fact that our mental and spiritual health is dependent on having enough of each of these compounds. If they are lacking in our body, there will be a lack in other areas of our life as follows: This is why an understanding of the planes of existence is so important: we are the seven planes of existence.

According to science the mind consist of at least world of five senses (sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch). You may sit quiet – with closed or open eyes. If your eyes are going all over the place, the mind is not in a meditative state. Only when the mind withdraws from the senses, it is ready for meditation.

If you have a positive state of mind you become creative, and successful in anything you do.

A holistic approach to your body, mind and soul can not only transform your health and well-being, it can benefit your relationships, everything that surrounds you and make you more patient, over-standing, Inner- standing, loving and generally help you to become more awake as a person in your day-to-day life.

Eat Food not robbed their life giving properties

Your body is your vehicle. Just like you don’t crash your car on purpose or set fire to your house how about nourishing, nurturing and caring for it. Our body is fueled and thrives better with pure water to drink, organic foods. So try flushing out the toxins in your body with herbal tea, herbs, lots of water and eating lots of fruits, vegetables and nuts as part of your diet.

Revitalise Energy

Think about how you impact not just the environment but people in your vicinity.  On top of making an effort to recycle more and waster less why not try and share wisdom, help others and lend your energy to those around you that might need it. Lend an ear, make someone a cup of warm herbal tea or simply smile at someone. No man is an Island, we are here for each other.

Knowledge of Self

Self-knowledge is a term used in psychology to describe the information that an individual draws upon when finding an answer to the question "What am I like?". While seeking to develop the answer to this question, self-knowledge requires ongoing self-awareness and self-consciousness. Wikipedia

Why self-knowledge is so important for everyone and how to gain knowledge of self-are the two issues that psychologists are asked most often! In fact, today a lot of people really understand that without self-knowledge they can’t develop their personality and this is the main reason why they usually turn for psychological care looking for the professional responses to these questions. Many famous and successful people have already expressed their thoughts regarding self-knowledge and self-improvement.

The most important thing about knowledge is that there is always something new to learn, something that can add to your life and probably those around you. People who are open to learning, discussing and experiencing new things are less judgemental and more educated – so read new books, visit websites like myempoweredworld.com who host a hub a wisdom to help develop and grow your knowledge on life, love and well-being. Knowledge comes from learning and wisdom comes from living. Each one teach one!.

Do you know who - and what - you are? Do you know who you're meant to be? Do you know how to find the answers to questions like these? Knowledge of Self is the result of a process of self-discovery, but few of us know where to begin when we're ready to start looking deeper

Although self-actualisation is the highest of all human needs, it is said that only 5% of people ever attain this goal. Development of self knowledge allows you to understand what parts of your actions and thoughts are shaped by the many cultural and social expectations around you and what really motivates your desires in life.

Failing to recognise yourself can lead you into all sorts of difficulties, such as letting others overstep your boundaries, doing what others' expect of you rather than what makes you happy and being quite aimless in life. However, self knowledge is a solution that opens the door to wisdom. The most important person in your life is you, you are responsible for your own well-being and path in life, so gaining self-knowledge is crucial to your happiness.

I hope this article will help you to realize that self-knowledge is the key to better living! Because just with a clear sense of self, you know who you are, where you want to go and what you want to do with your life. Self-knowledge is a highly beneficial process for you because, with its help, you naturally make choices that work for you. You should never pass over the opportunity to use this key to better and more successful living!

"When I was a young man I wanted to change the world When I found I could not change the world I tried to change my nation When I found I could not change the nation I tried to change my town When I found I could not change the town I tried to change my family Now as an Old Man I realise the only thing I can change is Myself

-know thyself and you shall know the Gods" (the codes to the Neteru/Neter)

Live in the present moment

Living in the present moment is one of the most important values of a holistic lifestyle. Not caring about what the future brings and trying to make the best out of a situation are valuable skills to have. Don't overdo yourself and push yourself to your limit. There's no reason to do that. And sometimes you simply don't have time for anything, and you are constantly in a rush, try to bring those times to a minimum

I don't believe time moves, we move through time the way a ship sails on the sea ,I believe time is ever in motion like this, time should be regarded as a dimension of space-time, as relativity theory holds — so it does not pass by us in some way, because space-time doesn’t. Instead, time is part of the uniform larger fabric of the universe, not something moving around inside it. Events do not sail past us and vanish forever; they just exist in different parts of space-time.

Love Life, be respectful and humble yourself

It’s important to love the life you have, as this will generally improve your happiness.

It really is true, when you love life it loves you right back.  Lots of people find affirmations corny, but how about just thinking to yourself when you are stuck on the bus or in traffic about all the things you are thankful for, all the cool things in your life, the people. Have some manners towards your life and you will find it respects you a lot more.

Life would be grateful if you stop complaining, and start appreciating and giving thanks for what you have.

Connect

Connect with like minded holistic people, they are everywhere! You will find it much easier to start living holistically by being around people who have already chosen this positive path.  You will naturally find that these types of people will come into your life as well, so keep an eye out…

And remember: you deserve to live a ‘whole’ life, rather than just a piece of it…

Living a holistic lifestyle is a lot healthier than most styles of living. It basically means you're choosing to live your life and heal your body through natural remedies.

What's unique about this way of living is you observe everything as a whole. You don't look at sickness and say it's something physical, you observe the entire picture.

The background of the sickness can be emotional or psychological, not just physiological. Therefore, through a more holistic lifestyle, you are more prepared for challenges in life as you observe your circumstances and surroundings fully.

WHAT IS HOLISTIC HEALTH CARE?

Holistic health care is a phrase that seems to be forever bandied around in alternative medicine articles and in the media. But what does it actually mean? A good online definition from wordnetweb is "holistic medicine treats the mind as well as the body".

With that in mind, we can confidently say that exercise is an essential factor contributing to the process of an individual's overall health. Exercise benefits not only our physical bodies, but also our mental and emotional well-being.

When it comes to a holistic approach to health, we might consider physical activity as one aspect of our approach, when in fact it can promote dual aspects of our well-being, both physical and mental.

WHAT IS MENTAL HEALTH?

The World Health Organisation describes mental health as “a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.”

Mental health and physical health are interconnected. When we are suffering physically it can lead to depression or anxiety, and those who suffer from mental health issues can be less inclined to participate in a daily exercise routine.

Exercise

HOW DOES EXERCISE IMPROVE MENTAL HEALTH?

Exercise can help our mental health in the following ways:

By increasing serotonin and endorphins in our brains, which make us feel good

Improving sleep

Increasing self esteem

Focus on activity rather than negative thoughts

Can provide social interaction.

Exercise can stimulate the release of chemicals which improve memory and learning

Exercise increases the size of the hippocampus, a part of the brain responsible for controlling memory. It also benefits the connections between nerve cells in the brain, helping prevent the onset of disease.

The benefits of exercise on physical health are well documented and include weight loss, increased cardiovascular capacity, increased strength and a reduced likelihood of heart disease. Exercise itself is a stressor on the body, but when performed in moderate amounts it protects against the onset of neurodegenerative diseases and contributes towards optimal brain performance.

Exercise stimulates positive emotions by causing your brain to release chemicals that make you feel happier and calmer. You are likely to have better self-esteem and feel better about how you look. Don't just sit in a chair all day, or lie in bed watching TV. Even if you have a job which requires sitting, it's important to incorporate some form of exercise into your daily life.

If you have the energy after work, go for a jog or a hike when you come home. Keeping your body constantly active improves overall stamina, and going for hikes offers a lot of fresh air. You will feel great about yourself afterwards.

Principles of Holistic Medicine

Holistic medicine is based on the belief that the whole person is made up of interdependent parts and if one part isn't working well, all the other parts will be affected, it is also based on the belief that unconditional love and support is the most powerful healer and a person is ultimately responsible for his or her own health and well-being.

All people have innate healing powers. The patient is a person, not a disease. Healing takes a team approach involving the patient and doctor, and addresses all aspects of a person's life using a variety of health care practices. Treatment involves fixing the cause of the condition, not just alleviating the symptoms.

How do I start a holistic lifestyle?

Here are my personal holistic lifestyle suggestions designed to help you live a more holistic life:

Practice mindfulness. ... just spend time with yourself without any distractions. Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens.learning mindfulness can help. It can also be defined as a mental state that involves being fully focused on "the now" so you can acknowledge and accept your thoughts, feelings, and sensations without judgement. ...

When we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we're sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future. Mindfulness is the human basic ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we're doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what's going on around us. Mindfulness is a quality that every human being already possesses, it’s not something you have to conjure up, you just have to learn how to access it.

The art of meditation is a delicate one, but it can improve

our life by a significant margin. Carve out time each day to dedicate to meditation.

Relax and focus on your breathing. Meditation is proven to be a very effective method of dealing with stress, and helps people make more sound decisions.

Meditation helps relax you and helps you feel connected with the rest of the world. Because in the end, we are all connected.

Recognise and respect the powers of your body. ... .You should always take care of it. It's a very powerful contraption. Learn how to tap into hidden powers of your body, and use them to your advantage.. explore your sexuality and take a nap. Nurture yourself and your soul.

Be conscious of your environment.... Be conscious of people you are spending your time with and let go of those who do not serve you. Are you in toxic environments or around negative people who bring you down? As soon as you become aware of your surroundings and their energies, you have the power to change them.

Many of us are not living our best lives right now. We are not living up to our potential, to the best version of ourselves. We can live better, do more, and be happier. We have the power to change our reality, and attract what we want. To do that, we need to start by raising our vibration to match the vibration of what we wish to attract. By becoming the best version of yourself, you can also help others do the same, and ultimately lead humanity to a more positive place.

As a result, you can change your reality and raise your vibration. If you don’t change your environment, you will most likely be expected to act the same way as before and be held in a similar frame, making it hard to break through and become a better person. If things around you are making you feel a certain way, or they are reminding you of your past, you need to change them. Doing this will allow you to release the lower vibrations and negative emotions, helping you increase your vibration and become a better you.

Become aware of the people, places and things around you. Life has a very specific way of sending messages to us. If you slow down and become aware of what is happening around you, things suddenly begin to make sense.

Eat clean foods. ... Food not robbed their Life giving properties during manufacturing and cooking. Clean eating is a holistic lifestyle diet based on eating whole foods in their most natural state and avoiding processed foods such as refined sugar and all other poisons, offers certain health benefits, plant based diets and advocate the consumption of raw food. Eat as clean as you can! Clean eating doesn't have anything to do with food being clean or dirty.

Make a point to eat as clean as you comfortably can and it will make a major difference in your life. Over time it will become easier and you will start to crave only high quality and clean food. If you do it at a pace that works for you, it will become a lifestyle change, not a quick fix. Start by adding more greens, pure water to drink

, a variety of colourful fruits and vegetables, seeds, nuts and beans.

Eating clean principle has extra-ordinary benefits. It's a balanced diet that focuses on whole grains, fruits, vegetables, plant based fats, and protein. It also encourages you to control the quantity of food you eat. Selecting ethical and sustainable foods is also a part of clean eating.

Focus on positive relationships... Surround yourself with positive people. The mind is an incredible tool because what you focus on is what you get more of. This is why it is so important to take charge of what you are carrying around in your mental space. If we focus on what is stressing us, what is wrong with our world, and on who did or didn’t do what we wanted them to do, we are going to feel a lot of burden on our mental software. If you are carrying around a lot of resentment, you are adding to your load of mental anguish every day.

On the other hand, if our focus and attention is on what is going well, we are going to feel better. It doesn’t mean the real problems will go away, but it does mean that with a positive mental perspective you will have more energy, and more possible options at your mental disposal. When you focus on the positive you have more energy and options.

Let yourself grow. ...If it wasn't for change, we would live in an endless repetition of life. What would we achieve? In order for you to be your very best self, you have to let change happen, even encourage it. You have to let yourself grow. In any situation in life, you have to put yourself first, looking out for your personal best interests. If you find yourself constantly doing the same thing with no results, it's time for a change.

You personally have to break that habit and start fresh. There is an African proverb that reads: “When there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do you no harm.” Accept your worst self just as you accept your best self, and you will learn to love yourself. Be your own best friend, because the only thing that we have and control, in the end, is ourselves. Treat yourself well. Respect your boundaries and values.

Listen to your body and soul. Get enough sleep and exercise. These basic factors are huge parts in raising your vibration. When you love yourself, and completely accept yourself, you begin to love and accept others as they are as well. This, in turn, allows you to let go of negative emotions such as jealousy, resentment, hatred, anger, and manipulation, helping you become your best self.

Be mindful of your thoughts.Pay attention to the way you talk about yourself. To the way you talk about other people as well. Our mind is a narrator who doesn’t stop. You’re not always aware of all the thoughts you’re saying. But those thoughts are what become your reality. Your thoughts, words, and actions all transform into your reality. This is why meditation is important and can lead us up the vibrational scale. It helps us become aware of our thoughts and teaches us to let them go. As soon as we become aware of our thoughts and let them go, we can begin to forgive. Forgiving is one of the most powerful ways to raise your vibration because there is nothing holding you down anymore, allowing you to release negative frequencies that you were holding onto.

Love life, and be respectful... Live in Love, and Love the Life you live, Be the beacon of light to the world!. The greatest power to man is that of unconditional Love. Through the ages, mystics, savants, sages, singers and poets have all expressed the ballad and call to Love. As humans, we have searched perpetually for the experience of Love through the outer senses. Great nations have come and gone under the guise of Love for their people. Religions have flourished and perished while claiming the true path to Love. We, the people of this planet, may have missed the simplicity of unconditional love.

Just because you say you love someone doesn’t always mean you will treat them well. Many people have disrespected and mistreated their parents, children, friends, family, siblings, or spouses despite the fact that they loved them. To me, the issue is not a lack of love. People feel love for others on a daily basis. The issue is a lack of respect, affection for others and lack of thought in one’s actions.

Love is often thought of as a feeling; we think it does not need to be expressed or acted on because it’s something we know we feel, so we don’t think we need to prove it. We rarely think of love as a verb or something we need to take action to maintain. We all talk about unconditional love, but what exactly it means? Seriously, I am not aware of it.

We like the idea of unconditional love in regards to all relationships, but this is not the case. We need to show appreciation for the people we love in order to keep a strong, healthy relationship. In other words, we need to respect the ones we love if we want to keep them. Love is not just a word to utter, your actions connote its real meaning. and people need to know they are appreciated.

Just as you have standards as to how you want people to treat you, others have standards as to how they want to be treated. This idea extends to strangers as well. You don’t need to love everyone you meet, but you should respect everyone you meet. It’s impossible to like everyone, let alone love everyone, but it is possible to respect everyone. Also, spreading the idea of respect is much less abstract than spreading the idea of love.

Love is often thought of as a feeling rather than an action and is therefore abstract and complicated. Respect is more tangible; we all hold ideas regarding what it means to act respectfully in our culture. Love carries so many bondage : possessiveness, insecurities, obsession, jealousy, demanding/authoritative etc. Respect has none.

Stop Trying To Control Things.... Life will happen. There will be ups and downs and trials, that is inevitable. It's about riding the wave and not trying to force or predict the outcome. It takes a lot of ego strength to surrender control of our lives to the universe- but that's really all that we can do. If you think about it at a deeper level, control is nothing but an illusion that we have created to feel powerful over the unknown. The only thing that you can really control is your reactions and choosing to live life in a way that holds true to your deepest core values.

Stop complaining.Stop talking about what you don’t have. Stop talking about other people. Stop talking about how you’re not good enough. Focus that attention on radical action, and let go of all these constant negative thoughts. It’s okay to feel down, but don’t focus and put your energy on it. Negative talk sends us down into a perpetual loop, and the only way to get out is to feed the positive thoughts and let go of the negative ones.

Connect...

There are moments in life that feel so powerful and trans-formative that they lead you to question if there is some sort of higher "purpose" to our existence. Moments of personal insight that are both painful and beautiful, all at the same time. Spend more time in nature. Outdoors can be the best therapy there is and a great way to connect to your thoughts. Life can be so hectic and sometimes we forget to tune into how we really feel. Go outside daily and reflect on the beauty of nature and the beauty of your life!

Spend time in nature... Walk barefoot, spend time with animals, and move your body outside. By moving our bodies, our vibration can start to move too. If we always sit still, our vibration will become static as well. Nature has a very high vibration. By spending time outside and walking barefoot, we become part of a process called “earthing”. Earthing allows our bodies to receive a charge of beneficial energy fast. We used to all live in nature. It only makes sense that nature grounds us and surrounds us with positive energy. When surrounded by nature, our ego starts to dissolve, our low frequencies start to dissipate, and we raise our vibration.

Through a holistic journey of change, growth, and transformation in my own life, I have experienced a sense of enlightenment and awakening in a way that I could have never imagined.  It's a feeling of Inner-peace and passion, for the first time in my entire life. A internal sense of Love and trust in the universe. This healing process has opened the doors for reflection about the meaning of life, purpose and a divine connection to our "higher self."

Take time and treat yourself to some “quiet time” every day. Do you ever find yourself longing for some time for yourself? Many of us are so busy with work, school, and home life that often there is no time left over to do something that you enjoy. You can read, connect with the divine or meditate. It will nourish your body, soul and relieve a lot of stress. You can't be good to anyone unless you’re good to yourself, This old adage should not be taken lightly.

Taking a little time for yourself refreshes and re-energises you. It allows you to think more clearly and make better decisions. Taking “me”time also builds your self-esteem over time, as you come to realise that you are important and deserve to have a little time to yourself. ... Simply enjoy the time out.

Ask yourself, “What have you done for me lately?” If you can’t come up with a good answer quickly, chances are it’s because it’s been a while since you took sometime to focus on you. You are more than just a business leader or entrepreneur. You are a whole person. If you don’t value that person, you can’t be effective in managing and leading others. The work will get done just the same or even better if you use your time wisely. So start by being good to yourself, take some time off and give yourself what you need.

Get some houseplants. Plants in your home and office freshen and enrich the oxygen content of the air that you breathe.

Keep TV watching to a minimum. It’s not called a “boob tube” for nothing! And make sure what you choose to watch is uplifting and not toxic or upsetting. Television has the potential to generate negative effects, and many studies have looked at the impact of television on society, particularly on children and adolescents ... Excessive television watching may have a deleterious effect on learning and academic performance .

Avoid using microwave ovens to cook food.

Say grace before you do anything in your daily life. Gratitude is the way to happiness. Have an attitude of gratitude. It can be easy to get caught up in the demands of everyday life and forget how good we have it. There is always something to be thankful for - whether it is your health, friends, family, job or anything that brings joy to your life. Take a moment every day to pause and be aware and thankful of what you are grateful for and this will boost your mood immediately!

Whatever you have, be grateful for it. Being grateful allows you to raise your vibration and attract even better things into your life. Negative stories in your life can help you awaken and help you become a better person. Be grateful for everything that has happened in your life, because everything happens for a reason. Whether it is a lesson or a blessing, it brought something into your life and ultimately changed you for the better.

Laugh every day. Laughter is the best medicine.

Get a massage. If money is an issue, check out massage schools — the students offer massages to the public for a fraction of the cost! Massage therapy relaxes muscle tissue, which reduces painful contractions and spasms. It can also reduce nerve compression. To understand this, consider that when muscles are contracted, they sometimes compress the nerves around them.

Make a practice of giving one compliment to a person each and every day — a loved one, a co-worker or a stranger. Giving a genuine compliment is an amazing positivity boost! But compliments are not only good for the recipients—they’re good for the people who give them as well. When you go out of your way to say something nice and give thoughtful praise to another person, it amplifies your self-confidence and nourishes your self esteem. The act of giving compliments creates a virtuous circle. Telling someone that they have made a positive impact on your life, or that you admired the way they handled a situation, is a powerful gift. You reinforce their value in the world, while strengthening your relationship.

Eat more raw foods. A raw food diet involves mainly unprocessed, whole, plant-based, and preferably organic, foods. Three-quarters of the person’s diet should consist of uncooked food. Raw vegans eat no animal products at all. The following foods are suitable for the raw food diet:

  • soaked and sprouted beans, grains, and legumes

  • Soaked Chia Seeds

  • dried fruits

  • raw nut butters

  • fresh fruits and raw vegetables

  • freshly made fruit and vegetable juices

  • milk from a young coconut

  • nut milks

  • raw nuts and seeds

  • pure still water, but not tap water

  • seaweeds

  • sun-dried fruits

  • green food powder, for example, dried pumkin leaves, dried wheat-grass or algae

  • other organic, natural, or unprocessed foods

  • fermented foods.

Anecdotal evidence suggests that people on the raw food diet may experience clearer skin, more energy, sustained weight loss, and a reduction in cholesterol and lipid levels in blood tests.

Drink more water. How much water should you drink a day? You probably know that it's important to drink plenty of fluids when the temperatures soar outside. But staying hydrated is a daily necessity, no matter what the thermometer says. Unfortunately, many of us aren't getting enough to drink, especially older adults. "Older people don't sense thirst as much as they did when they were younger. And that could be a problem if they're on a medication that may cause fluid loss, such as a diuretic.

Drink at lea////st two litres of water daily. Drink water with lemon. Sometimes the most powerful things are the easiest and drinking water with lemon is one of them! It is one of the most inexpensive and natural ways to detox your body. Try drinking this first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Lemon is high in vitamin C and helps to flush out the liver, which is one of the most important organs in the body!

Water keeps every system in the body functioning properly. Water has many important jobs, such as:

  • carrying nutrients and oxygen to your cells

  • flushing bacteria from your bladder

  • aiding digestion

  • preventing constipation

  • normalising blood pressure

  • stabilising the heartbeat

  • cushioning joints

  • protecting organs and tissues

  • regulating body temperature

  • maintaining electrolyte (sodium) balance.

Giving your body enough fluids to carry out those tasks means that you're staying hydrated.

If you don't drink enough water each day, you risk becoming dehydrated. Warning signs of dehydration include weakness, low blood pressure, dizziness, confusion, or urine that's dark in colour.

Replace coffee with green or rooibos tea. So many of us love our coffee in the morning but sometimes we can overdo it and have too much caffeine in our diets. If you are looking to get away or cut back on caffeine, green tea is a great alternative. If the taste is too strong for you, add some honey! Green tea is made from un-oxidized leaves and is the least processed type of tea and therefore contains the most antioxidants and beneficial polyphenols. Green tea helps aid digestion, improves heart and mental health, and regulates body temperature.

Do something for other people. Helping others is a healing act for both you and them. A little volunteer work is a great way to keep a healthy perspective on yourself and life. 'I live in the benevolent mission. Giving can also reduce your stress. That’s because actively engaging in activities takes your mind off your worries and gives you some perspective. Sometimes we feel better about our own circumstances when we compare our situation with what others are facing, creating an increased sense of gratitude and contentment.

Cultivating gratitude is said to be one of the keys to increasing overall happiness. In addition, feeling like you can do something may provide a sense of control in a stressful situation. It can also combat feeling alone in a problem because sharing responsibility builds connection.

"Simply stated, unconditional Love is an unlimited way of being. We are without any limit to our thoughts and feelings in life and can create any reality we choose to focus our attention upon. There are infinite imaginative possibilities when we allow the freedom to go beyond our perceived limits. If we can dream it, we can build it. Life, through unconditional Love, is a wondorous adventure that excites the very core of our being and lights our path with delight' -from Harold W. Becker in Unconditional Love- An Unlimited Way of Being.

You cannot raise your vibration and attract positivity if all you’re putting in your mouth is synthetic, and has no nutritional value. Consume whole foods that your body recognizes. Lack of time is no excuse. You can eat whole foods without spending hours preparing it. You simply have to want to eat better. In the end, we really are what we eat. An abundance of energy, mental clarity, and inner peace, all start with what we put into our bodies. The foods that we eat affect us on a mental, physical and mental level. Be mindful of what you put inside of you.

Let go of the stories you’ve been telling yourself. Let go of the victim role most of us are playing. Observe your thoughts, instead of attaching emotions to them, and let them go. Change your environment. Be mindful of who you listen to, what you eat, and who you are spending time with. Raise your vibration to live a more peaceful, loving, life, and help those around you do the same.
